Will this fit my car's headliner?
Fibre-optic strands install into a perforated headliner — soft fabric or alcantara roof linings work. Hard plastic or panoramic glass roofs can't take the install. WhatsApp us your make / model / year and we'll confirm before you order.
How many stars should I pick?
Rough guide: 750 stars for a subtle look in smaller cabins. 1000 stars for medium saloons and crossovers (most popular). 1500 stars for SUVs and large saloons. All three include 600 shooting meteors.
How long does a starlight install take?
Bigger job than the Ambient Kit. Expect 4–8 hours for a clean DIY install — that includes dropping the headliner, drilling fibre holes (template included), routing fibres, and reassembly. Many customers prefer a local trim shop (£150–250). We support you on WhatsApp throughout.
Do I need to remove the headliner completely?
Yes — fibre strands need to be threaded through the headliner from the back. Most modern cars require seat / pillar trim removal to drop the headliner. Our install guide walks through it.
How does the meteor effect work?
Three meteor light strips sit behind the headliner, each driving a row of fibres. As the LEDs in the strip chase, the fibre tips light up in sequence — a real streak of light across the ceiling. App-controllable speed, colour, and frequency.
How do I get the app?
App login and pairing instructions are on a card inside the box. iOS and Android both supported. Search for 'Smart Starry Sky Top' or scan the QR code on the included card.
What's the warranty?
1 year on the full kit — fibre, source machine, meteor strips, and harness. If anything fails, message us with a quick video and we'll send a replacement.
